Hey guys,
a friend bought a new PC 2-3 months ago

AMD Phenom X2 945
Gigabyte ma785Gmt-us2h motherboard
OCZ 2 GB DDR3
FSP Saga 350
Seagate 500gb
some old IDe HDD

old compaq cabinet and 17" CRT

he gets a BSOd almost every time he plays a game for some time. eg circket , fifa 09, the games that should run effortlessly on 785g onboard graphics chip

Also many times, he gets BSOD when the PC is idle or under low load.

After recovering, a pop-up says ati driver failed but now recovered

We tried ATI driver from the mob installation DVD first and then win 7 driver update search, but the problem persists

formatted the C partition couple of times and reinstalled win7 32 bit.

no solution yet

Check if the pc is overheating --Use CPU-Z HW monitor ,check temps in BIOS as well..Although this seems to be a driver issues , you're doing a mistake somewhere :death:

Are you installing it on the IDE or the SATA drive ?
