Wind + Rain + Delhi = Wipeout

I was coming back home from NP ~45 mins back. I saw clouds in the sky and I was like 'nice, its gonna rain today..'

I sat in car, started driving, then it started to drizzle.. I was happy

After 10 mins of drizzle the clouds started to piss down water like it hadn't rained in a million years..

There was water logging on the freakin flyover!! Whenever a strong wind came my entire car shook..

Everyone was driving on snail pace, had hazard light + high beam on, could barely see 40-50 meters ahead..

At munirka crossing (near vasant vihar) one side of the road was turned into a swimming pool, nearly 70% of my tyre was under water :@

A tree fell on my dads car after I parked it near Venkateshwara college . Just a small dent on the roof caused by a branch of the tree, could have been worse. Cars parked near mine were unlucky and had the entire tree over them.

What's the meaning of rain? (asks a mumbaikar). I'm sure most of you Mumbai folks don't know the meaning of it.

especially near Rajiv Chowk, Race-course road!!
no traffic movement for a a full friggin 2 hrs!!
my bro had to walk down from the central secretariat till nehru park!! :eek:

I saw my M800 shaking in the rain!! lol
 
thank god it stopped raining when i was returning home at 6.15 here near Rohini, other wise i wld have been blown away with my puny FZ :( !!!!!!

I remember a time it rained so hard we just stopped in the middle of the highway !!

Wipers on max were useless.

yea lotta guys had stopped in the middle of the road. Along with the broken tress fallen on the road, outer ring road was like a crash course, had fun driving..

I'm adventurous you know :P
 
rabbA RABBA meeh warsa, saade punjab v daane pa :P

it rained for just 15 mins yesterday morning

and my newly acquired airtel digital tv lost complete signal which was told to be good in rains as well :P
