Why not stick to Win 7 instead? Or directly move on to Win 8!!

You are getting microsoft genuine counterfeiting problem as you are using a patched/pirated/cracked version rather than genuine one.

Linux is good if you know how to use it if not then for pure gui stick to win or mac

I wish I could use Mac OS.. it does not fit into my budget.. I would like to know about UBUNTU.. Howz it??

Try Linux Mint. It's based on Ubuntu, and is very easy to use and install. It doesn't come with the privacy issues that Ubuntu does, so try that instead.
You can make a Live CD or USB stick and try it without installing it on your hard drive. Give it, or both Mint and Ubuntu a try, and judge for yourself how they are.

If u want to use Mac OS X that badly try the hackintosh distros especially the one by uphuck team it requires less time in installing and configuring to match our hardware and thier support is nice than the other distros ahem for all this to happen u need to have intel processor where processor should be atleast core 2 quad or q6600

if u want to try linux, mint is better compared to ubuntu and good for starter as well

as far windows is concerned i would suggest Windows 7 i wouldnt recommend Windows 8 trust me i am using Win 8 right from the developer preview thanks to my msdn account i still consider this an unstable os

It takes less than 5 seconds to turn this feature off PERMANENTLY. :)
So you are forced to do it. Thats not how it should be. Rather it should be disabled by default and ask permission whether it should be enabled or not. Read this: https://www.gnu.org/philosophy/ubuntu-spyware.html

How do you mean they are not 'FREE'? Can you please clarify?
Free as in Freedom, not as in Beer ;-) Read more: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_software

I'm aware of the link you posted but don't understand how its relevant to your post.
How exactly does Gmail restrict your "freedom" in any way?

Also, I forgot to mention, I still use Windows XP & dual boot between it and Win7. I use XP (90%) much more than I do Win 7 (10%). I only use Win 7 for games that explicitly require it...

I dont really understand why people like ubuntu... There is redhat, centos, oel, gentoo
Then there are kali, tails
personally I like redhat distributions
