Windows 7 indian prices ?

Hey guys i want to pick up a genuine copy of 7 in india.
Any idea what the prices will be in INR for Home premium, ultimate and professional editions ??
 
i had called up microsoft india to inquire about the prices, and even the cc exec on the line didn't know. lol.

we might have to wait for Microsoft to announce the prices, after 22nd Oct. mostly in November-December, since everything comes late here.
 
I think it'll be from 15k to 20k depending on Professional,Ultimate.

BTW Any idea on the latest version of Windows 7 ? Is that build 7600 thingy the latest? Please help.

yepp. build 7600 is the RTM. so that will be windows 7 official retail version.
 
The approximate price for Windows 7 Home Premium will be $150 - $200 (Rs. 7,350 - 9,800) and Ultimate will be $250 - $350. (Rs. 12,250 - 17,150)
 
Best not to buy it India,The prices will be somewhat inflated,or else wait for 6 months and then the prices in India will be more or less the same

Are they going to release win7 in India this oct22 ?

yea they must reduce the price of software...I am expecting 3k or 3.5k for home edition ,,and 1k for starter edition
 
I don't think they will ever learn. They force people to use pirated stuff. You know people actually buy antivirus now because it is affordable. And many more are buying the games they want to play. But the MS people may never learn.
