Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

An older thread, but did anyone find out WHY the OP needed Windows 7 Ultimate?
There could be a truly edge-case scenario where only Win7 is needed and nothing beyond Win7 will work.
Interesting to know the dire need, especially when Win8, win8.1, and Win10 have been succeeded by Windows 11.

Many ppl still use windows 7 just because they hate metro/modern UI introduced in later windows versions. In any case, typical tasks still work on win 7 assuming security is taken care of &/or preferably the win 7 system is not connected to internet.
