There are so many uber-cool models releasing for Windows 8 and I have decided to compose a mega-thread for reference. There are almost 2 months before Windows 8 gets released and I am super-excited that I can finally buy a complete laptop+tablet solution (and ditch the damn iPad), so this is one way for me to let off steam.
PS: This is a work in progress. Will probably finish this by the weekend. Will be adding all models released till now with loads of links for reviews and galleries. Stay tuned!
PPS: Mods, please decide whether this is the correct section and shift if required. Thanks!

SAMSUNG RT ATIV TAB
Another contender from Samsung which looks suspiciously like the Surface RT (Bound to get suspicious after the Samsung vs Apple debacle
).
Samsung is trying to create a new ecosystem here like it has been trying to do in Android aka the Note family. But, I feel they have a greater chance to succeed here because of the rich MS ecosystem already in place - corporate plus home users. We'll have to wait and watch.

LENOVO THINKPAD TABLET 2
ACER ICONIA W510 TAB - Microsoft's (angry) OEM partner makes an entry with their sleek Windows 8 Atom based tablet. Standard fare Intel Clovertrail Atom processor with a 1366x768 display. The unique part about this tab is the the detachable keyboard which can rotate 295 degrees and provide extra battery life - 18 hours according to Acer.

SAMSUNG ATIV SMART PC - Samsung's entry in the Intel Atom range is the 11.6" ATIV Smart PC with a 1366x768 resolution. It is again a convertible design with a detachable keyboard. One thing to note is the stylus that comes along with the laptop. S-Pen for Windows anyone? Also, this is quite spacious with 128GB storage space.
ATIV PC - Samsung ATIV
ASUS VIVO TAB - Asus releases the big brother of their RT tab with an Intel Atom processor. Similar specs but the storage gets bumped to 64GB and it also has support for Wacom digitizer which should make this quite the productivity tool. Intel Atom might hold it back a bit, but then again, you only get what you pay for.

HP Envy X2 PC - As HP has come out with their own interpretation of the Windows 8 Atom table and it looks pretty good as of now. Aluminium build, NFC support and an IPS display are the major highlights here. Also included is a magnetic-mechanical latch that prevents it from detaching from the base.

Saying that this is the most awaited tablet of the year is an understatement. Microsoft blew everyone away with this finely crafted-tablet that left everyone wondering how did they manage to do this. Even Apple fans who love their iPad could not help but admire the beauty and finesse of this tablet.
We can only be sure whether MS has finally delivered with this after it releases, but everything looks pretty impressive right now.

DELL XPS 10 RT TAB
Dell recently released their version of the RT tab with few details - a 10-inch Snapdragon S4 Windows RT tablet with a micro USB port for external storage and a slim-hinge mobile keyboard dock. The high-point of this tab seems to be the extended battery life (housed in the keyboard dock) which apparently gives the device a combined 20 hours on a single charge.

Summing it up, the specs seems more or less the same. The differentiating factors here will be the build quality and the company brand itself. Microsoft set the ball rolling with a high quality and unexpected Surface tab. Other offerings look good as well and with an expected 10-20 hours of battery life (with attached dock) and a tuned version of MS Office, this can be a handy tool for the road warrior!

LENOVO THINKPAD TABLET 2
Lenovo's entry into Windows 8 tablets begins with the ThinkPad Tablet 2. Though it has an Intel Atom processor, it does bundle the x86 version of the OS i.e. Windows 8 PRO and could be a solid replacement to the Atom netbooks of today.

There is apparently a Dell tab (Dell Latitude 10) with Intel Atom too but I cannot seem to find the details
