Hey you learn to mind your language ?

I've used a Ultimate Retail install on a E6600 with 4GB DDR2-800 and a 8800GTX 768.

It performs just the same as on my E6600 with 3GB RAM and a 7800GT, which is crappy to say the least.

Agreed it'll improve with time, hopefully SP1, but it isn't anything to rave about ATM.
 
thanx for ur information. Since i am not a game freak , i think i must stick to window's xp. But nonetheless i will try windows vista out. I might like it !!!!

Eh? What does Vienna have to do with Vista?

The immediate shift to Vienna is more to do with the way Windows is now architected.... it is very flexible. Within a matter of a couple of days they can come up with new skews....

Basically, creating Vienna is much easier now. They can add and replace stuff easily. So there is no huge initial cost that they can't afford. It is an almost continuous evolution.
