Wat is da difference between these os???
does it has any difference in gaming??
if there then wat is that.......plz replay....

The 64 bit OS processes at a faster speed than the 32 bit OS.
Just take example of Windows 95 and the newer windows versions. Windows 95 was a 16 bit OS while the newer versions like Windows 98, XP are 32 bit. The difference can just be identified by anyone by their speed, isn't it?

Just like that, now there is more advanced OS of 64 bit in XP which can give still better performance. However, they are usually used by the professionals as most of the softwares in the market are meant for 32 bit only.

cheers,
microsoft.

no dude it does not increases the speed of the processor or the quality of graphic card:no:

64 bit processor supports more a 64 bit O.S. rather than a 32 bit.

it's just like running a car on petrol which can run on cng/lpg as well;)

most of my friends have noticed higher fps in games using 64 bit vista versus the 32 bit...time to go 64 bit then !!!

64 bit Operating systems have better memory handling, and can recognize more of it. With 32 bit operating systems, you are locked into 4 gb even if you have more. A 64 bit OS will handle 32 bit operations noticeably faster, they have better response times and will multi-task considerably better.

Isn't it around 3GB only? BTW, where can I buy genuine XP 64 retail version? I think only oem is commonly available.
