Update 11th Aug 09

Stage 3

Before installation of ccfl....lotta probs faced....not enough room for the tubes....wer to place the inverter bla bla...bijli is small cabbie..:(

And since i opened up the case decided to a do-cable mgt......Baah it was a headache.....i removed extra 2 front usb connectors and also the headphone mic jack as i wont be using them.......got mx5021 pod to do the job;).....phew lil of congestion taken care of.

lotta cables....vx450 6 sata connectors, 6 molex....darn!. Using for odd and with its shitty ide cable..., ccfl inverter, 2 x converter for 6pin connector on 4870, intake 120mm on bijli(shared with the ccfl inverter), and one for 2 x 80mm intake fans on sidepanel.....total using 4 molex. another wires goin from the ccfl tubes to the inverter, small wires of various start/reset sw and led's, 2x front usb connectors. 2 x sata power connectors with sata cables on the 2hdd's and lastly the 6pin on 4870, 24pin, 8pin on mbo. Phew lotta wires!!!..

Thats the best i could do with all these wires....see pic

Now the ccfl's installed and using default zebby bijli 80mm intakes.....will change them once i get hold of white led fans..with suiting grills.....For the mistake i made the sidepanel window was cut big:(.....i m planning to cover same and more area on the plexi with vinyl and custom graphics....have to decide on same but eager on using some tribal dragon.:)

Pics below

Nice. :D

Should have left lil more metal from the sides imho, especially exahust end. :)

hehe ya....actually i did do that but i cut out from the old markings:@....mistakes happen...nyways i would be covering with some custom graphics as mentioned...but m happy with the 200buxx mod for now:)

Also i couldnt do the u-channel since there was absolutely no clerance between the plexi and the heatpipes from the TRU120A...its just a fit now..

Hey, plz tell how did u manage to cut that panel with so good a finishing?

BTW, mod looks cool. I like the 2 80mm fans on the side...:)

^^hehe its simple axesaw blade....see the pics....it takes time but it gives linear cut..i had no other choice aswell....dremel jicksaw....all not available at ma place..

I filed off the sharp edges with the emery stone...check 2nd pic..the small grey cuboid.

Lost 3x blades available at any hardware shop for 5-75 buxx depending upon the quality grade....buy the 24th teeth saw since metal is thin...18th teeth saw is for wood etc.

@pratik n abhi thankyou:)

WOW ! Thats cool. I have the same problem for cable management. VX450 in Bijli, PATA DVD drive and a graphic card. Hope I can do something like this one day.

^^Custom graphics with vinyl sheets to cover some area specially the 3.5" and 5.25" bays and Better fans ofcourse.
