Dear Members,


We are very pleased to announce the winners of the "TechEnclave Celebration Contest." The contest ran from 14th to 29th October with more than Rs.7000 in form of prizes at stake.

We had a tough time sorting through the entries submitted. Alas, somebody has to win, but we take this opportunity in thanking all the members who took part in the contest and turned it into a success story. Thank you all for showcasing your talents and we sincerely hope you would continue to do the same - contest or no contest.

So without further ado - here are the winning entries. Remember, there are in total six prizes up for grabs. (1st, 2nd, 3rd & 3 consolation prizes)

In order from top to bottom:

Prizes they have won:
  • First Prize -
    • Steel Pad 4s worth Rs 2,350
    • Annual Subscription to one of the Mags listed below
    • 3 Month TE Premium Membership
  • Second Prize -
    • Steel Series T-shirt (M or XL size) worth Rs. 2,100
    • 3 Month TE Premium Membership
  • Third Prize -
    • Steel Series cap worth Rs. 1,200
    • 3 Month TE Premium Membership
  • Three Consolation prizes -
    • 3 Month TE Premium Membership each.

Admins would get in touch with the winners soon. For doubts/clarifications please feel free to PM any one of the Mods.

A very important point i need to mention here is that the three consolation prizes are actually short of the 2k word limit especially the 5th and 6th entries. But as a good will gesture and as our token of appreciation for taking part in the competition and not to forget the 'Diwali Spirit' we have decided to give the consolation prizes anyway.

A special thanks to mods for the 12 hours time as i didnt noticed it before.

Definitely, I'll be looking forward to write more articles in my leisure for TE.
Hopefully the article will clear a new pc user on handling basic security needs.
