Wireless Internet in Hyderabad??

Looking for a wireless internet solution in Hyderabad with following features.

- Min 2Mbps speed for at least first 80GB.
- Connection sharable between multiple devices
- Reliable
- Online Bill payment
- Availability in KPHB Area.
- Budget of < 3k / Month
 
Subscribed.
My hits are the first and the last requirement only, a month of searching and I am still at a stalemate.
 
^^ Are they reliable (Digital Cable Net) ? Just had a chat with them and they said that Wireless internet is available in my area. However I would require to pay 3 months cost in advance + 500Rs additional for Installation. Also the guy was a bit unclear about the plans. Offered me 2Mbps Unlimited plan with 20GB FUP for 800/-. Post FUP, speed becomes 1Mbps.

As for Wired connection, I am have become a bit paranoid about Wired connections since my 15k Motherboard blew due to a voltage spike down the WAN cable. Since then I had the WAN cable routed through the spike suppressor on my Belkin Surge Protector, but last week, due to a voltage spike, the local reliance router blew and sent a spike down the WAN cable and now the LAN port on the suppressor no longer works.
 
I know for a fact that the entire hotel beside where I live (Hill Ridge Springs, Ella Hotels) is covered by Beam WiFi, 10 Mbps connection if I'm not wrong.

I get appreciable signal from what, 150 meters away

Sorry to hear that. I'm sure you might have called the local Salesman or Call center. Okay, I even Remember i asked you to post on their official Facebook page. If you haven't done that please do it and also i can see that you looked in to Digital cable wireless. Mate i Seriously have no plans how good are they or how they operate, these idiots throw off pamphlets every month, Even their plans are so Yawning.

May i know where exactly do you stay in kukatpally? pragathi nagar? VV colony? Jntu? Balaji Nagar? Kphb? I have Friends all over kukatpally who use high speed internet. May be i can help asking them for suggestions if you stay near their place.
 
Wireless internet in Hyderabad

Digital wireless internet new plans in Hyderabad at the speed of 10 MBPS Unlimited at Rs 999.
 
Posting on their facebook page is futile. I already did that. I also posted on the broadband forums and got a standard robotic reply to give them the phone number/ticket number. There does not seem to be Private Message system over there, so no go.

Any way, Digital Cable called me back to tell me that they can give wired connection for high speeds and that I would need to pay 1000Rs/Month for a 2Mbps full unlimited connection without limits and I would need to pay for 3 months in advance and yeah no installation charges. I told them about my predicament with wired connections, but he said that their repeaters are provided with sufficient surge protection from normal voltage spikes, but he cannot guarantee for thunder strikes.

I guess I have no choice at this point. I will take it and route the WAN through a Belkin Surge Protector down to a WiFi Router and then connect over WiFi.
 
Digital Cable people came today for installation. They first tried the Wireless route. Unfortunately the speeds were really bad with Wireless. So they took it off and they will be installing the connection through optic fiber on Monday.

Just for info, the provider behind Digital Cable is Pioneer and the bandwidth is from Airtel.
 
Obviously bandwidth will be leased from some top teleco. Pioneer Internet? hmm.. yes i know them. Famous in hitech city,Madhapur area and they do manage Lines for Datacenters also.

how much are they charging for installation? so your plan will be 2mbps unlimited for 999+Taxes?
 
Digital Cable didn't work out. Got hold of Beam in the end. Had to mail the Nodal Officer to get the the mobile number of the local sales rep.

Any way, went with the 15Mbps plan
