PC Peripherals wireless or wire combo

i am planning to buy a keyboard mouse for my desktop pc.
which is better to buy wierless k/b+mouse or with wire?
i heard there are problems with wireless and they are not much reliable so should i go for wired combo.
pls suggest some good combos.
 
If you go for wireless, you will need to add battery and mouse will be heavier due to battery weight. If you always sit near and use the computer, go for a wired desktop. Simple and hassle free. Wireless is useful only if you want to sit back and use the system. IMO for this you need to have a big monitor/using TV as your monitor.

Nothing like that if you are not looking for precision FPS gaming. I used my wireless one for normal work and watching movies at night from 6 feet distance. And yeah my wired mx 518 is heavier than my wireless (with battery), so that is not a big deal. Now obviously wireless will cost you more so think about your preferences and select.
 
wireless mouse these days come light weight with single AAA battery.Or they come with custom light weight batteries.Whatever you buy stick to logitech.

both sets are nearly same priced but the i ball has a 6button mouse with 4 way scrolling while logitech has simple 3 button mouse

Logitech, hands down. I think dvdstoredelhi is selling this at 1.2K. check out the market section. I'm sure he has it on his ebay store as well.
 
Just got a Logitech MK320 yesterday and I must say it's very good, though the mouse is a little smaller than regular size, other than that its perfect. Look for MK260 if you want bigger mouse, but it comes with a smaller keyboard.

You can also look at options from Microsoft, though Logitech seems to be better in terms of range and battery life. Give iball etc. a miss.
 
^ AFAIK, MK320 has a full size keyboard and compact mouse and vice versa for MK260. Other than that, didn't find any difference.
 
^dont worry mate these kind of deals keep coming and going everyday one should not worry about it who knows tomorrow you might get some better deal which others may miss.

i also missed the letsbuy coupon deal because i was busy with exams and opened techenclave site on 3rd june only when all coupons were finished i also thought that i missed such good deal but after 10 days i got this deal so these things go on one should not worry about the past as the deal which is finished is finished.
