Hi we bougth this unit and after working with it all I got is nothing and you have to be sitting on the computer for it to work as soon you move away your picture is gone, for me it was money in the garbage.Call for help and the only responce was my cordless phone was the problem and that they couldn't do anything for me.

After asking if this product was compatible with my laptop and tv I thought everything would work great. After having tried multiple things the best I got wavy lines that did not resemble anything on my computer screen. Not user friendly, Hardly works. Not to mention the amount of cords for a wireless product.

Sorry I wish I could say something nice about this but it was completely useless. I hooked it up and the screen remided me of the old auxilary antennas before cable TV. The picture was terrible. I though I should go and rotate the antenna. The input was from an nVdida 8800 GTX card and the end solution was aweful. The total distance I wanted it to broadcast was only about 15 feet so I could not have to run a cable across the romm and it couldn't do the trick. I'd steer away from this one. I can't imagine the other reviews are from real buyers.

First of all , If you are using a LCD monitor , this will make your screen very blurry. It seems to have only a slight affect on the old style monitor. ( I could not tell but my kid did right away) Also note the broadcast quality is not very good. I would say if your using this to keep an eye on what your kids are doing upstairs then it works just fine and is easy to install. If your plans were to use your big t.v. as a monitor then forget it the picture quality is just not there.

I have this product and I must say its pretty cool. It does what its supposed to, and up to this point, ive just used it for transmitting tv audio and video and haven't even done a computer screen yet, either wirelessly or wired. The only issue I have as the other people mentioned was with phones and wireless networks operating on the 2.4Ghz frequency. I was able to change the channel that my wireless network goes over, from the default 11, to another number such as 7, and this fixed the issue with the wireless network. I am running a 802.11g network and by changing the channel, its fine. However, the video transmitter does totally mess with our Panasonic phone system and that has no changeable channels, so basically I use it at night to watch tv in another room away from my satellite receiver. Works pretty good though for the price!

Slingbox ?

Pardon my ignorance, but can I use the slingbox and get the TV to function as a display for my PC wirelessly?

I see comments like "watch TV anywhere" when I googled for Slingbox, but thats not what I want.

Thx varkey, but they seem unreliable.

Hmm...maybe Il just buy a long HDMI-HDMI cable and connect using that...Just have to conceal the wires.

Are there 8m long HDMI-HDMI cables available?

Whats the maximum length that can be between PC and TV/Monitor?

6 feet. But if I have to use HDMI-HDMI wired cable, it will have to be concealed in the walls and hence Il need 6-8m probably.

Hmm... great...

So The 25feet HDMI cable will go thru the pipe inside the wall... I would need 2 wall plates(one near PC and one near TV)... But, I will also need two more 2metre HDMI cables to connect frm my TV to the HDMI wall plate and frm PC to my other wall plate.. Am I getting this right?

if it's for movies and music, the ps3 via dlna works very very well. I am able to watch all my DIVX movies over my Buffalo 54G wireless router. PC to router is wireless... router to ps3 is wired.

For everything, but yeah movies, sitcoms n music pretty much. Also I want to be able to add subtitles..set delay for them smtimes....etc... I have an Xbox360 but obv cant have the flexibility of a full PC with that.
