Good luck!

What's the last paper?

(Don't listen to other people outside the exam center "discussing" the exam and get confused. Most of the people have no clue.)

Oh, it isn't three papers? One each for Maths, Physics and Chemistry?

Either way, good luck for the other exams as well. I remember doing this in 2001!! (EAMCET, IIIT, IIT, Roorkee. Bits was just through 12th marks at that time. Was a very painful 1 month).

Best of luck Faraz. Well i have got 20 days for my next AIEEE exam. what do we call it yeah,"raat din ek karke padhunga" :P

@whatsinaname-there used to be 3 papers of IIT at your time? :O seriously it would have been very painful.

I remember sitting for EAMCET (A.P) with a 2 week preparation back in 1997. That year we had a drastically different pattern for the exam with IIT JEE style subjective questions in addition to multiple choice and Fill in the blank style questions. Added to that, there was too little time to attempt the entire paper (Math: 25 sub, 75 obj in 90 min, Physics + Chemistry: 40 sub and 70 objective type in 90 min) and aggressive negative marking. I went on a 2 week holiday to kodaikanal the very afternoon I finished with the second paper of the exam. :P

Hmmm mine went well, Except for the second paper's math, This years's JEE was like easier, comparitively, yeah, you'd all go dont compare apple's and oranges (doing that helps..sometimes) Expecting 150+ marks, attempted for something like 250, lets see how that goes. Should have studied, I was checking up on the mod-vote too bloody often :P

Dont worry, If I dont make it , I wont blame TE, It was me , bloody hell should have studied :@

:cool2: Good luck for all your results.

Dude did you check your result? its available on various sites by Fiitjee, Aakash etc..well actually I didnt, why take any tension? anyways best of luck for the rest of your exams....do well.

Also i was busy playing Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and Crysis 2 rather than studying...even i think i would have studied...and yes exam was much easier than the previous one's...

Quite a few of those sites display incorrect answers. My advice would be to ignore all of those till all your exams are complete. (Actually, don't look at them at all. Just wait for your results).

And yes, in my year, we had a screening test in December. If you passed that, they let you take the main exam (and you got a rank for that! Never understood why). The mains were not multiple choice. One two hour paper each for Maths, Physics and Chemistry. The exam basically lasted the whole day. (Roorkee was a separate institution at that time, and they had a similar setup as well. They didn't have a Screening Test though).

Even in my year, I felt that the exam was easier than most of the papers from previous years.

@Lord Nemesis - Did not know that! My year, EAMCET was the normal 150+75+75 multiple choice questions. It was my last entrance exam, and I had lost all motivation by that time. :P

^^ That EAMCET 97 pattern was never repeated after wards as far as I know. There was such a cry over it that it was reverted back to the old pattern the very next year.

Which is why I'll now say I'll only get about 100-110 odd, not good now :( last year it was 150 the cut off, this year should be more, lets see, I dont really want to do Engg anyway (math is getting way above my normal patience levels :| )

CLAT is on 15th may, I'll wait for that :P

EAMCET is 80+40+40 when i gave it and they are considering +2 marks weightage for ranking as well

I was thinking of seeing the answers today, as i was about to my 3 friends called and all had marks <100 and i am too scared to look and i've left it up to fate now not gonna look at all! huh..!
