i'm not sure whether its wrong or right? i thnk everyone is making fuss of the whole thing. I mean anyone can be kicked out of the team, its not they are not allowed to reenter or something, right. And the media is hyping the whole thing by saying board politics and all which i dont understand at all.

Gambhir 2 + 3 = 5
Dravid 24 + 53 = 77
Laxman 69 + 11 = 80
Tendulkar 109 + 16 =125
Ganguly 40 + 39 =79

Based on this, he does not deserve to be dropped. :no:

Back to topic... I think he should not have been dropped from the test team, why?... ummm coz I dont watch test match.
But still this was not the right way to do. They should have let him play the final test, he would have scored at most 30 runs in that match (he is known for that now, isnt he) and then no one would have objected to his chopping

The manner in which he was dropped was wrong, but if it were up to me, he should've been kicked out totally.

i can agree on form but what is clear is that this i all to do with who mr greg wants. First he makes some baseless claims which if the meeting is to be taken were false(faking injury and all that)

Its increasingly clear thats its a case of his not having ganguly in team for whatever reasons.

For me, i wouldn't want an australian to come and tell us who or what our heros should be. or who isn't

Its about time we selected an indian coach. If its offensive to have a foreigner as PM, so is to have a coach. :tongue:
 
But then, having Indian coaches(anshuman Gaekwad, Kapil Dev, etc) did not work at all for India.

The first international coach we had turned the team around.
 
While all of you nag over Ganguly, why doesnt anyone give a sh*t about the women's cricket team? They've done pretty well, and the bloody BCCI (which i believe gets crores of rupees in profits) isnt giving them ONE PENNY!!!!

And everyone claims they like cricket.... so whats wrong with supporting a well-performing women's cricket team?????????????

Wll i really hoped ganguly was shown the door a month ago, but then he was recalled and now ,when he performed "not so badly" at the delhi test, for some mysterious reasons,he was dropped again:@ :@ .....it was sad to see and hear about how he was treated by his teammates.....even if they had good reasons for it....after all there is something called "manavata"

what do u guys think about the decision ??

to me, he was the one who had the most impact on getting TEAM INDIA to the position they are now (a prominent team ... almost getting the 2nd spot on rankings). kept everything togather and that buring thing again ... provincism. this is the thing wrecked WI ...

just wonder ... when some singlehanded prominent players will retire or will be unavailable .. where they(the team) will stand .. or at least .. in abroad serieses .. where ganguly led the team very nicely .. we will feel his absence.
