I want to buy some RAM for a laptop. On the chip already there it says 256MB 1RX16 PC2-4200S-444, so please offer a compatible chip.

512MB or 1GB would be great, and if local pickup around South Delhi then perfect!

I have a 512 MB stick pulled from a sony vaio. It is fine ( ran memtest before removing it )
AFAIK, there is no warranty on it as it is OEM.

It should be compatible because AFAIK all DDR2 is compatible.
I can give it to you for 350. You can pick it up if you ever come to Noida
 
Ok I found out today that 1GB (DDR2) Laptop RAM is coming for Rs. 700 (without bargaining). So please keep that in mind.

Also I have decided that I only want 1GB RAM (1GB or 2x512MB) at either 533 or 667MHz. So please make the offers accordingly.
