I have never been much of a speaker lover primarily because my taste in music isn't very appreciated at home (parents hate RCHP/Pink Floyd) and gaming at high volume is very disturbing to them!
I don't have speakers for my computer and rely on my Philips SHP 2700 cans for my sound/audio related needs.
Today I came across an ARTIS S-222 - S-222 2.1 speakers :: Artis : Computer speakers and headphones : Kunhar Peripherals at my friend's place and I was blown away!!! He bought it for Rs.1400. It had the most amazing sound quality - I've heard from entry level 2.1 channel speakers ever and it could play directly from a pen drive or any external harddrive. It had a memory card slot to play music from your phone's memory card! I am in love with these speakers!!
Rs.1400 is the cost of these massive speakers, I confirmed it at my computer dealer's shop.
