Looking for a used 2 x 256MB kit of DDR400 memory... any brand will do, as long as they're working. Preferably under warranty, but it's ok otherwise if you can give me a week's guarantee so I can test.

I don't need more than 512MB total so don't offer 1GB kits :D

I have a stick of 512mb ddr 400 ram Transcend brand if u want which i am willing to give away for Rs.2200 + shipping(Rs.50).
 
@devansh5, are you sure because a new stick costs lesser than that :P

@Masky, no budget in mind, just want something decent to run my old P4 on...
 
What happened to the 1 GB of Kingston HyperX you had ??

You had 2 GB of it of which you sold 1 GB IIRC......
 
dont know if u can get 512mb transcend ddr 400 ram for less than Rs.2200!!!!!!!!!!!!! news to me.thanks for enlightening me.

Wow, really? That's crazy man... shoulda kept my 1GB Transcend kit which I sold for 3.6k after 2 months of use - bought it for 4k :P I'll have to look for OEM RAM now.
 
Would you like some Winbond CH-5 - 2x256MB DDR 3500?? Will definitely sell if you offer a slight premium. And it does have lifetime warranty if u can send it to the USA for replacement. Its about 2.5 years old.

Oh yes. Its DDR 433 and comes with nice metallic yellow heat spreaders too. I really dont know what to say about the price. Something around to 3.5k maybe? Sorry if i didnt estimate properly. You have anything to sell for my new comp - DDR2, HDDs or any X2 proccie? Would definitely prefer a trade or trade+cash.

Thanks, I'll keep this as my third choice - second is devansh5's. First choice is a couple of friends upgrading their PC's, they might have 333MHz RAM but I'll settle for that if they give it for nothing lol.

Don't wait up both of you, if you find buyers, sell it - if I don't find anything, I'll contact either one of you. I prefer 2x256MB so I can run them in dual channel mode.
 
Tempting man, really tempting :P Give me details on when it was purchased, how long it's been used, best speed/timing it's run... after that, I'll get back to you :P

Btw, I got a quote that a new 512MB stick costs 2550 and a 256MB stick costs 1450 - at least that's the price an old dealer of mine is willing to give.
