WTB: A digicam atleast 5 MP

Hi

In case anyone is willing to sell his/her digicam then please contact me. I would like to go in for a digicam which is atleast 5 MP. No SLRs etc. Only need a basic one for point and shoot purposes.

Just a suggestion, more megapixels dosent mean better image, it depends on the camera. And also 3.2 MP is also more than enough(pic size is 20" X 30" iirc) so u dont need to go for 5 MP or more.

Thanks for the info hunt3r. Actually I am going for a 5 MP or more because I may require a print out of the pics on an A4 sheet. So in those cases anything less than a 5MP wouldn't suffice.

Has anyone tried out Sony DSC S600http://www.sonyindia.co.in/sonyindia/products/DisplayProduct.jsp?modelNumber=DSC-S600.

Please provide any inputs on how the camera is.

My mistake, after doing some reasearch i came across this info. The screen resolution on monitors is 72 ppi but for printing its 300 ppi. http://www.vividlight.com/Articles/3116.htm

Now A4 is 11.75" X 8.25" and acc to the link to print 13.5" X 9" @ 300 dpi u need 11 MP :S

As of now I won't be able to afford even if they somehow come up with an 11 MP camera. Lets see what I end up buying. Incase you have any idea about the Sony model I mentioned above then please shed some light on it. It's a Sony DSC-S600 (6 MP camera).

i have sony w5 with 512MB and case for sale.
i purchased it in my trip to tokyo.
it has 8 months international warranty left. box and cd and everything.

reason for saling.. well upgrade to 3CCD or HD camcorder....
