Laptops WTB a Laptop within 32k.

Hey ppl need yur suggestions here........buying a laptop want to knw which one is good......parents not allowing to spend much bcz getting as a gift for 10 results :P........don't need camera or tv tuner in it but speed matters and should have sufficient features bcz will be using it for watching HD movies and surfing net.......please suggest a good one......

Amd turion 64, Nvidia 7000 series mobo (dunno exact :D), 1 gb ram, 120 gb hdd,dvd writer,wi-fi, card reader and webcam.
 
i think its difficult to find a lappy which will play hd stuff with ease in your budget.. also i dont have much knowledge about lappys per se

given your budget of 32K i think these would be good choices

Choice 1 : DellTM VostroTM 1400

Choice 2: Compaq c772tu

Choice 3: Acer 4710z

currently only compaq one has a 2 gb ram config so if you are buying any from the other two make sure that you upgrade your ram to 2 gb at least.. it would cost you at the most another 1K .. all three lappys can be bought for 30k and less for their current configs so adding ram will not go beyond your 32K budget.

Also try checking in a couple of shops and if you dont need the carry case then you can get another 1K off
 
i would go for dell 1525 .. excellent VFM .. 2 gigs of ram with c2d, bt, 2mp webcam n stuff.. getting it on 2nd week of june :D
