not really , as long as its original , should not be an issue ,also look at the price , these shades are 7k+ in the market , considering discount n stuff , cheapest i could see it was for 4500 the other day.

Plus i take good care of my shades so as long as i get this in good condition , will take care of the rest

Isn't that exactly the reason to be apprehensive? 7k+ shades for 2.5k + seller claims to have lost warranty card. smells like a fake. I'll reserve further speculation until you get the shades. hope I'm wrong :hap2:

sounds like original from his detailed post compared to this article

Is there any place you get them cheap online. I thought you would be able to get discounts on them online, but apparently not. Am looking for ray ban, or something decent

Lesson learnt - check the frame width unless you want to look like someone who isn't fashionable.
This is what mystifies me, how is it fashionable to wear something that dates to the 70s ?

At least something below the radar is ok, but aviators are too well known & identifiable.

Can see them working as a prop (expensive) at a retro party but beyond that not so much.

These days, I'm into mafia style sunglasses.. not the Dawood Ibrahim type but more like the Italian gangstas. They look way cooler (personal IMO), especially if you've got a large-ish countenance.
But even he does not used mirrored type.

Last year had got a pair of Junior Aviators (blue ones) via ICC world -- love 'em. Though they do not cut out the light vs. my Predators, but they have a kewl look. Blr_P, it is really hard to pin down why retro remains in fashion. Just the reason that Aviators are classics, people like to wear them.

Looking for red ones now...

These amazon el-cheapo glasses fit/size is a hit and miss affair.I got a few, most of them are much larger than average.

Anything you get from ebay at a reduced price is 80% of the times going to be fake. Rather buy a cheaper brand locally or spend the moolah. Original stuff is available at Yoox, 6pm, Amazon Direct, Macy's etc.
