I remember seeing a couple of threads about broken iPhones being posted in the recent past

Now the battery on a colleague's phone is borked out and he needs a replacement battery but is having a hard time finding one.. His top case is also in a delicate shapeso he intends to change the cover too when he opens up the system to replace the battery

Anyone with a broken phone who'd be willing to part with their dead toy for a reasonable price?
 
Man asheet, stay away if you dont know anything or who you are talking to. He knows more about apple then you know about yourself :P (Hyperbole... dont get on my head now. )

Thanks for the link kkndka..didnt know iPhone batteries were readily available

Anyway, I'll wait a couple of day and see if someone has something up for grabs..
I am the one who's supposed to open and fix it (for a measly beer as the fees :lol: )
Since I'll be spending hours trying to open and fix it, so might as well replace the cover while am at it (if i can get one)

let me tell u beforehand, the iphone is a real pain in the a"" to open, it took me 2 hours to open with obvious tv breaks in the middle lol

Well... Its worth it..... For us :P... As your (fixing stuff) stories are pretty fun to read... With a bit of Vodka of course...
