define cheap ... i have few months old E7200 and MSI p45 Neo +GT7600... willing to sell it very reasonable.... Ebay listing too if you need it...

this is just for a download RIG. 24x7x52 running.. only download n net browsing.

so better of having a normal G31 mobo (similar also) and E5xxx series or 6xxx.

i have phenom-II ,but i dont want to make it run 24x 7

hellboy - i have a p4 dual core running at 3.0ghz. this is with an Intel Mobo. this should be within your budget.. let me know if this interests you and we will take this forward!!

Pentium D processors draws more power right?

is that Pentium D or
Intel Dual core.

there are architecture diff and power usage diff in both.
 
If you can somehow arrange a local pickup in Bangalore, I have an Athlon X2 4000+ Brisbane and Asus M2N-MX going for Rs. 3000/-.

sorrry for hijacking the thread .. but i am unable to create a thread in the market section .. i have the same requirement as the OP i.e. a dual core setup (mobo-proccy combo, or the complete CPU ) and looking for a seller from delhi if possible.

I don't have a decent courier guy near me at work/home. Have to wait till the weekend to find a good one. Shipping will be extra obviously.But I would prefer a local pickup and cash payment anytime.
