Hi Friends,

I would need to upgrade RAM for my HP ZE5570 notebook from the current RAM of 512 MB to 1GB.
Hence, request you let me know if you any of you planning to sell 1GB (or 2X512MB) DDR266B RAM.

To add more on the required specs, the following are the details that I could pull from the existing RAM:

Package: 200-pin SODIMM

Feature: DDR PC2700

Specs: DDR PC2700 • CL=2.5 • Unbuffered • NON-ECC • DDR333 • 2.5V •
 
if somebody is selling 2x512mb of ram you will have to throw out the existing 512mb ram stick since most laptops support 2 sticks only.

what you need is either one 1GB ram or one 512MB stick.

He would have 256MB x 2 .. not 512MB.
 
^^ no, he has 512mb already. if he buys 2x512mb, he will have a total of 1.5GB (3x512mb sticks).. got it?

^^ sorry friends for the my delay in replying..as I was stuck with urgent issues at work.

I am having two 256 MB. so, if I get 2X512, then I can throw those 256 sticks.

check this page for latest rates: 512mb ddr1 is 1250 and 1gb ddr1 is 2550.

ok 800+shipping? or 800 for local pickup if u are in mumbai.
 
hi halo, thanks again for considering my request! In other threads, the 1GB itself r being sold for around 700/-.

I am from Bangalore and hence, it needs to be shipped to me.

Would it be possible for you to trade it @ 800/- including shipping? I am sorry for too much bargaining over here.
 
please show me where 1gb of ddr1 laptop ram is being sold for 700 and i will definitely buy 2-3 ram sticks myself.

you are most likely seeing ddr2 which is much much cheaper than ddr1. according to current price: (cheapest) DDR2<DDR3<DDR1<SD (costly)

in fact new 1gb ddr2 stick costs only 800 so 700 for a USED ddr2 stick is actually very expensive.

I agree...we are paying more for DDR1 only because of its non-availability. Please let me know if you can sell it for 800/- including the shipping. If so, then please provide your account details.
