Should you want to stretch up a bit (ok a lot), I'd be letting go of some bits from my main gaming rig.

Q6600 never OC'ed: 3 months old
Stock cooler
G.Skill DDR2 800, 2x1GB: 6 months old
P5N32-E SLI: Still 1 year of warranty left, IIRC.
9600GT with Accelero S1, always below 66 degrees. I have two in SLI, but I'd be holding on to one for a studio rig later, as it's totally silent. One is up for grabs. KMD warranty, no local warranty. 9 months old.

I can help you out with a keyboard and mouse, but you'll need to scrounge the rest of the stuff (cabinet, supply, monitor and disks) yourself. I haven't a sale thread for this yet, but we can talk. It's gonna be quite a bit more than what you've indicated, but for you there's a special offer.

You don't even have to pay me ;) if you know what I mean.

how much for the processor & mobo sangram?

maybe i can sell my current e6600 & p5n-e sli to pheonix n pickup the q6600 & p5n32 that your selling sangram.

also pheonix a new dell 19" lcd costs 7700rs.
 
@Bikey, even though i am a dealer, want to save as much as i can. These days the margins aint hefty you know :P

I said this earlier and will say this again.
You have a good budget for a nice, new rig.
E5200- 3.4-3.5K

Very very vfm and nicely oceable.
G31/EG31 matx S2L mobo - 2.2K-2.3K
if you need PCI slots usable even after fitting a dual slot card, P31/EP31 full ATX DS3L

eg. those who have or will be using a good PCI sound card.

There is some P31-S3G that is cheaper and not exactly full atx.
New Dell 19" widescreen is 7.3-7.5K at Lammy.
I had a friend's BiostarTP35+E4400 combo that was on offer for 5.5K and got sold for 5K iirc.
One Biostar TP35 mobo may come up for sale.

Didn't boot up one fine day after 6 months of issueless service.

sent for rma but no one had time to get it picked up and was lying with the service centre for another 6 months.

So a year old, picked up recently and the replacement is a fresh,, new board most probably. :P
How much warranty did these Biostar TP35D2A7 mobos have- 1yr/2yrs/3yrs? :S
 
Dunno. Lemme know of the board. I might also get a IP35-E for 3-3.5k . If i get that ill go for it.

Would prefer a 17" if i can save 1k or so. Have a 7600GT 256MB DDR3 now with me, so will be using that in the rig.

Mostly will end up getting the E5200. Was looking for a older E7200/E6750 for 3-3.5kish.
