want to buy a good and cheap headset for mainly gaming and music .... sellers preferably from kolkata ... price 600 - 700 bucks .
mic not necessary ... :)

for that kind of money, why dont you buy something new instead? altec lansing and iball/isound have some models in that price range, plus i doubt if anyone is selling headsets in that price range second hand :P

Altec Lansing AHP512i = Rs. 600-700
Philips SHP-805 = Rs. 900
Sony XD100 = Rs. 1000

have used Altec Lansing AHP512i & I' am using Philips SHP-805

both are great but Altec Lansing AHP512i was very uncomfortable for me

don't know about Sony XD100 but Smith says it is great too

I've to agree. :(

@digital_brain: BTW, i have 2 pieces of the same with me. One i am using, other havent opened the box. Am frm Mysore and I can ship one to u. 850 bucks shipped for the new 550 shipped for the old. lemme know if interested.

the foam pads sit right on the ear lobes and if u wear them continous for an hour or so, ur ear lobes pain - just short of bleeding :bleh:

problem is u wont notice the pain if u wear 'em for as long as a couple of hours.. but thats just me. i've seen many forums where ppl have no complaints about this headset. but i do.

even i have this altec lansing set , very uncomfortable for long usage , ive removed the pads & using it ... much better :D
i'll probably mod it by cutting the pads further so that it sits comfortably around the ears ... let see :D
