I too am looking for an outdoor rated camera (it will be installed in a farm shed, so better to have the IP protections).
My wireless signal reaches the shed easily, but thinking of adding an extender (a good one had been suggested in another thread on TE) and then maybe add wires from the extender to the cameras or use wirelessly if the system seems reliable enough. For most days, I will only need to check on the system for a few minutes every hour, but on some days, I will require whole days recordings which will be reviewed day after. I am thinking a TP link Tapo C310 or any other IP camera which supports a SD card will work out to be cheaper and more modular than a NVR based recording solution. But is such a system reliable enough to ensure that the data gets written reliably on the days that I would need it. Don't need any other fancy features whatsoever.
