does anyone want to sell a Motorola Surfboard SB4200 Cable Modem used or new?

im also willing to exchange it for a Motrola SB5100 cable modem. i really need this product so please post ur offers.

even I have a SB5100.....and its a better, newer one compared to the SB4200. Why do u wanna change the newer one? The only thing Im expecting is that u wanna change the firmware or u wanna uncap?? Is that ur evil plan to get more speeds??

i have 2 sb5100. both i have changed the firmware and uncapped. now my isp upgraded their sytem and im no longer able to get good speeds and i want to try sigma 1.7 which works only on sb4200. sigma 1.7 has a special feature which i hope will solve my prob.

i like 5100 better. it looks better and in all aspects its much better.

so please post ur offers/.

i am the topic starter itself.

yes i tried x2. the isp is still using docsis 1.0.

its the dynamic configs which is causing the prob. sigma 1.7 has a dynamic config hack which i think can solve the prob. correct me if im wrong.

Hey...check out ur PM.. I have asked a few questions to you! I have a frnd whose got SB4200 in Mumbai.. Will ask him if he wants to have an exchange... But what about the MAC address and stuff...answer the PM!!

i can change the mac address etc with other firmwares.

and its a very bad idea to use ur own mac when uncapping as the isp can easily trace u.

btw the sb5100 which im trading will be fully modified with sigma-x or sigma-x2 preloaded.
