Want to buy nvidia 7600GT (around Rs 3000), or 7600GS(around Rs 2300) or 7300GT (around Rs 1800). Preferably Bangalore pickup.

As posting for another member please contact right.ho@gmail.com or PM bingoUV if you want to have one that you did like sell off

ATI Radeon x800xl for 2.8k. It's almost same tier as Nvidia counterpart Geforce 7600gt. 1 yr old and carries warranty from USA.

I am the guy for whom bitsandpieces has made the post, thanks bitsandpieces.

I am okay with a used card if it is cheap. ATI won't do, sorry. They get their linux drivers directly from hell.

My current Intel X3000 might be more powerful or almost equal to 7200GS so I'd like at least 7300GT.

I'll contact j2rulz. Thanks guys.

can't find such a thing. Any links?

you should be getting the 8600 from mercury in the local market. atleast availability of any mercury in local market isnt a problem
and have excellent support though branding and packaging might be slightly below par

Sheesh- i didn't see this yesterday.

I have a BIG 7600GS 256MB PCIe card with approx 2 yrs warrranty left.

Had bought from tejo, for a friend, for 1800/-.

Lying unused here- would have let go for the same. :P
A friend is in Bangalore today and sent some stuff meant for another friend in Bangalore via him.

Could have sent this card along too maybe and you could have picked it up from my Bangalore based friend. :P
BTW, used XFX 8600GT 256MB DDR3 goes for 3K or less depending on brand/warranty/etc...

Used 7600GT goes for 2.5K or less- mostly 2.2K odd. :)

Sorry, got busy so couldn't check.

thanks Neotheone for the Mercury 8600GT suggestion. I might actually go for it.

Since the chips are from nvidia, the only contribution/goof-up mercury can do is connections and cooling. Connections seem fine as Neothene and broar are using it. I don't plan to overclock so cooling does not matter very much. I might even underclock to save power. Normally my intel X3000 is enough for me. Only need a better card for some of my experiments.

Has anybody seen a Mercury 8600GT being sold in Bangalore? My neighbourhood retailer does not stock them. Maybe SP road will.

As new 8600GT is available within 3000, the equation changes a bit. I am looking for the best price/performance/power consumption ratio now. I have about 1-2 weeks to decide. So for used items, approximate equation is :
8600 GT : 2500
7600 GT : 2000

I'll forget about 7600GS and 7300GT then.
