WTB WTB old PSP 1000 dead batteries

Planning to convert them to use a 18650 cell, which will hopefully give better game time.

My old PSP's battery has conked off, and new batteries are not available. I had previously modded another old battery to run off a stripped BL5c. I wish to mod an OG PSP 1000 1800 mAh battery to run off a 18650 cell.

Not willing to mod the PSP. The mod you have quoted, removes the UMD drive. I dont wish to do that since the UMD drive is working just fine.
My plan is to use the existing battery's charging curcuit and only replace the old cell with a new 18650 (or 2), which will be attached to the PSP externally.

i Had also used a camera battery directly to the contacts and worked well. Didnt have to remove the UMD in my case

Just to be clear, I am looking for dead / bloated old PSP 100 OG batteries, and not suggestions on how to get x battery working with a PSP.
