WTB thread deleted even though I'm a Disciple ?

Hi folks,
I read the rules here that the Market section is not open to new members, which I understand is there to protect people from scams etc,
I waited for my account to be upgraded to Disciple, and then I posted a thread in "Want to Buy" section.
I got a notification saying: "Your thread WTB 1060 or later GPU for transcoding was deleted. Reason: Market Closed to New Members"

What else do I need before posting there, if someone could please point out what I missed ?
