Storage Solutions WTF : LiteOn DVD-RW blinky blink !

Reporting this issue for someone :

Issue with :-

LiteOn 18X DVD Drive.

Issue :-
Drive doesnt eject !!!
Pressing the eject button the LED indicator just BLINKS !
Pin Push - Tray Out - Press eject buttom - LED only BLINK!

Checked rubber strap : Its perfectly on the roller.

Whats wrong ? Wat to do ?? RMA ???

I'm damm upset abt this....don't wanna give for RMA cause i'm afraid will be getting another drive ( which will be a refurbed one for sure ) . This drive jus just 1 month old.....

try this to check just plug the power connector dont connect the ide cable,

just the power cable and then try and to use the eject button. if this dosent help then there might be problem with ur tray alignment... so u will have to give it to the service center

^^^ on the way to check that.....will post back with results.....anything that works...but wondering how IDE cable can affecti it :-s ........getting it tried upon...................

even b4 i could read the last post of the "bang" i tried it...and guess wat !!!

told my fren to open the tray completely....and then bang it in like ur closin a car door.. ! :rofl: :rofl: and then its fixed :tongue: hihihi hope it doesnt recoccur........
