Download Shilpa Shetty WallpapersThe Leeds Metropolitan University in UK will confer on actress Shilpa Shetty an honorary doctorate at a student graduation ceremony on Wednesday, July 18, informed her spokesperson Dale Bhagwagar.

Earlier, in honour of the International Film Academy's visit to Yorkshire last month, Leeds Metropolitan University conferred honorary degrees on Amitabh Bachchan , Shabana Azmi, Yash Chopra and Praful Patel.

"The honorary doctorate is in recognition of Shilpa's outstanding contribution to cultural diversity and good relations between the peoples of the United Kingdom and India. It's a proud moment for all of us," added Dale Bhagwagar.

And she gets a doctorate for generally behaving like a sl*t . kissing people , crying and putting on a f*c*ing show ....Oh god , why the f do we shower them with so much undeserved attention .

I hope they burn in hell with their doctorates . :@

At least shilpa work for charities......better than other celebs.......

Yup i understand......but dude showbiz is this only......if u say sorry i dont deserve u cant charge money......so being in showbiz no body will refrain frm taking it(after all its a fake tag which will provide future benefit)...and the person giving will definately use shilpa for his benefit.......when everyone makes money why shd they refrain frm doing so....

Personall too i dont think she deserves that......it would had been better if baba amte shd had been given the same......but what can i do...only switch the channels when i see the long leg lady...thats it!!!!

In short she has been made brand ambassador for the same

No need to call her names. Unfair to term her as a sl*t. She may not have deserved the doctorate. But then, calling her names is not warranted. Statement is chauvinistic. But I believe your anger was directed at this farce of a doctorate.

the opinions stated above are mine and there is nothing you can do to change that . if you feel this was wrong please report to the mods and if they feel so they can edit anything . but i will say it again she is a sl*t .

Well, your opinion is your own and I'm not interested in changing it. But it's clear to me now that your attitude towards Shilpa (and maybe women altogether) is not something I agree with.
