WWAN Card , where to buy n cheap ?

SO ive bought a nice n slim MSI X340 laptop for her , it has a nice sim card slot under the battery means all it needs is a WWAN card , that combined with the new docomo plan which provides 12gb of internet access ( 1gb a month) for jus 94 rupees(Yes 365 days validity) would make a killer internet always available on the move.

So looking to buy a cheap wwan card that would get the job done, any suggestions ?
 
What exactly is a WWAN card and why do you need it?

If the SIM card slot is there, does it not mean that the required hardware to connect to mobile network is already present in the laptop?

But the TATA Docomo SIM will work on 2G technology and on most places I have read that the laptops with SIM card slots have 3G modems only.
Do you know if those are backward compatible with 2G tech like EDGE/GPRS?

Do you know if any USB 3G modems are available in India?
Are those modems compatible with 2G tech like EDGE/GPRS?
Do you know their price?
 
hmm the one u suggested is for cdma / evo , im looking for one for GPRS

this one suited my requirements , now only to find out if its compatible with the network and the indian operators.

too many questions, simply put
if ur laptop has a simcard slot under the battery it supports a wwan card , to findout if u have a wwan card along ull have to open the laptop or check on the net if that particular model comes bundled with a wwan card , in my case it does not , im not intereted in a usb modem as it beats the whole purpose n blocks a precious usb slot ( in my case the laptop has only 2 usb slots)
so im opting for this solution which is cheaper and better too as saves the trouble if you know what i mean
