WTB X399 motherboard.

Gameloot recently had a processor + x399 combo for 25k, I thought that was a fair deal. Amazon randomly lists a new Gigabyte X399 for around 30k every now then. It drops in and out of search results randomly.

Yeah, even I found a local 1920X with x399 combo for 25K but I thought it wasn't worth it. I ended up buying a 14700K+Z690 combo. Windows worked without reinstalling which was a great sight.

Win 7 onwards have large size not without good reasons. Nowadays windows install has so many extra drivers saved in reserve that situations like these where changing entire hardware platform resulted in straightaway BSODs earlier now have no impact as windows simply detect the new hardware & accordingly load appropriate drivers for it from its reserve to boot correctly even if with some limited functionality & then use online resources to update itself when it gets the chance.

Yeah! Definitely a great thing. Makes it feel a lot more robust
