Hmmm first he gets a super water coolng setup n then this...did they hire adi to overclock for them knowing he has the talent n the means to clock extreme...maybe the 6800 is the remuneration for official overclock report frm Adi

Edit: If he gets superpi to anyth under 10 he becomes the official OC God of TE.

Plus, right now, Im having Amazing problems with the P5W-DH BIOS. Its acting up as usual. Getting back to it now. After a good nights sleep.
Will post better no's as they come :).

hmm ad1... i wont be possible even if U had 3 stage phase change. U need a little more than hardware (MAN i am so jealous.) I am sure once you get the experience you can do it, but sorry to say, I believe no one in TE has the knowledge to make such a thing happen. After all, its not child's play right?

But I am expecting a sexy 11.xx or even 10.yy out of you. Go tiger....

Having real issues with the RAM on this board..

I guess Karan was right, about what he told me last night :P.

@ Karan, I still have the VCore options btw :bleh:... Lol...

dude thats cuz u have gay clocks on ur ram....

wth is is doing @ 5-5-5-15

seriously man.... those d9s deserve better treatment.

create a bootable cd of memtest v3.2 and first figure out the ram (and its nuances) then look at the cpu.... take care!

Im having real issues with the Board over 300 FSB.

Gonna drop the Multi's and push for the Highest FSB i can reach now..

More SuperPI Later...
 
Seriously dude,

Take your time..... find the limits of the RAM first.... sort out all the issues you are having with the mobo....

I dont know why people are so desperate to see numbers :P .... there are tons of them on other forums.... it is not like you got a totally different X6800 from those guys :lol: Your numbers will be similar.

Take it easy, go out with your gal, sleep for 10 hrs a day, play some CS, and also work with the mobo and try sorting out the issues :P
 
^^ I was out with my Gal the whole day yesterday.. With this Rig running :P...

My Actual Rig is crippled coz I dont have a Spare PSU :P.



266x13 = 3.472 Ghz

1.4 VCore

1.6 VMch

2.4 VDimm

No go with above 300 FSB, Windows doesnt boot, even with a lower 10x Multi.

Flashing BIOS to 0903 Now.. Lets hope for some better no's...

Hmm, some progress made... I am constantly on Gtalk with ad1.....

now he has broken 310x11.... but that happened only after flashing to 0903 bios..... (told ya so Ad1 :P) earlier, anything above 300 FSB was no go.

now hes gone back to try 350x10.... i hope it works.....(if it does, it increases the probability of me going for a p5wdh even more ;) )

man i am skipping lunch to wait for his results.... :D

settings:

vmch = 1.65v
vdimm = 2.4 V (to rule ram out, 120 mm blowing at it)
vcore = 1.4V - 1.5V (ac on and keeping watch on temp, so shud be fine)

lets hope this works....

hmm... no go, 320x10 didnt work.... something is definitely amiss.....

maybe its time to give p5b delux a try? the new htt allows for > 400 HTT.... but that seems so far off now.

edit: hes benching @ 300x12 now..... 1.5Vcore

little improvment.....
the end process tree trick :P worked again :D (hehe)



now time to work on timings.... and up dividers..... (like 1:2, 3:4 etc.)

@ nice and cool ddr2 800 at 3-3-3 will help somewhat (alteast .3 - .5 sec)

brb with more results after lunch folks (btw where are the folks?)
 


Suicide Shot..

Was very instable..

VCore : 1.525V.. (I wont go anymore, temps were at 50C Idle)

VDimm : 2.4V

Vmch : 1.65V

This board doesnt lemme go more...

Im switching over to the P5B Deluxe + Water Cooling soon. :).

Wish start working on it Tonight only..

Wish me luck.
