XBOX 360 Arcade Price cut arrives in India. Now offically at Rs.14,676/-.

xXx is right, but dude if its from 2006 then u gotta be ready for an RRoD anytime, the earlier builds were seriously crappy. The arcades are so much better, the RRoD is less than 5% if i am correct, the only problems that the newer Arcades can give probably if the DVD-Drive dying. :>

i wouldn't wanna pay more for it but when the shopseller sells things and people buy they don't think of it.if that was the case he would have sold the 2006 core much earlier by discounting.

i was talking of the manufacturing cost which for core would be higher than today's Arcade versions

my comment was making sense but you din't get what i was talking about
 
IMO today's console buyer's are though in minority, they do see / check any console they are about to buy.

I did and recently too, when i upgraded to 250gb PS3 slim i checked for make of the model and it was from the batch of June 2010, so it's a recent shipping ;)
 
Its $199 NZD along with a game not sure which one .Isn't that cheap?? ,can i get one from here and use it in India .I guess i shouldn be needing voltage convectors as NZ also uses same as India.
 
^Yeah thats as good as 150 USD. Pretty much the same price the older Arcade models retail in the US after the price cut. Besides, NZ uses PAL IINM, so you are good to go. :)
 
I dont need one re its useless as i am not going to stay in India for long time(just 3 months) ,will be getting back to NZ to complete masters.Will pick up one when i will be coming back for good.

Can pick up one for you iff it doesn't occupy too much space.Only 20kgs is allowed as checking from NZ by all carriers can adjust them though :P.
 
Planning to get an xbox 360 arcade for 12999/- . I already have an XBOX controller for PC, so should come in handy when I buy the console. Is this still a good deal? I am a light-medium gamer (not much into online games) and play mostly FIFA and NFS series on PC. Had been wanting to buy a console for a long time now. PS3 is pretty much out of budget as of now.

Any suggestions on getting the arcade?
 
Get a xbox arcade and mod it.Also now xbox are RROD free the jasper ones hardly get RROD.Almost every games are better in console except FPS and strategy.
