Xbox 360 or Graphic Card or What ?

Hi guys,

I am looking to buy something to further my gaming time :bleh:

I am damn confused right now on what to buy, I am getting a new Xbox 360 Arcade for Rs.14.5k + 500 for modding.

I already have a PS3(JBed) but since no new CFW is releasing for it, I dont think I would be able to play backups for newer games, thats why I am thinking of the Xbox.

Also I have no idea when the hack for Xbox Slim will release.

Also currently I have a HD4850 1GB, I was thinking whether its the right time to upgrade, rest of my config in my Siggy.

So guys what should I do ? Should I wait for the hack on Slim to come or buy the Arcade at that price ? Or should i upgrade my GC ?

Please help!!
 
I think it depends on the games you want to play.You can play almost all pc games at medium or high settings using 4850.A new GC will give you just a bit more eyecandy.But a new xbox will give you a lot of good exclusive titles.My vote goes to the xbox.
 
Save the bucks, I think a GPU upgrade later this year would be a GREAT IDEA, with games like Battlefield 3 coming up.
 
I suggest you to go for Xbox 360 now..

I own it and it truly rocks..

The Controls are so easy in FPS games, you will love it..

A new GFX card will do, but there are no PC exclusives coming...

The controls are soo easy

Playing Halo/Gears of War is very easy and a great experience..

I used PS1,PS2 and Tried PS3 Before and Felt that the X360 Contoller is much better than any..

Just go for it dude... Games are plenty.. You will never run out of games for 10 years...

^^ the 500 Rupee investment that the OP intends to spend on Modding will take care of that .
 
Is it so easy to get an XBox modded? What is the success rate like? And if the process fails, then what? And does modding work on all kinds of Xbox 360 consoles?

I have a xbox, which i got modded 3 weeks back...

its been with me since four years and because of the high price of games i never used to switch it on.

For my gaming need i got a HD6850.

All my gaming was on my pc only, but since i got my xbox modded..ive understood both are important.

Consoles- exclusives, button smashing games...and also great when friends are over.

PC- game availability(if you know what i mean), FPS games.
