Xbox 360 peripherals !

Today, we bring you high resolution pictures of some Xbox 360 peripherals. Available this holiday season in Europe, Japan and North America, Xbox 360 is the next-generation video game and entertainment system that places gamers at the center of the experience.

Xbox Live Camera

The Xbox Live Camera for Xbox 360 opens up a new world of gaming and entertainment on Xbox Live, the world’s premier online video games service. With the Xbox Live Camera, video chat and video messaging with your friends becomes more than just a feature set; it is an integrated part of the Xbox Live experience. Connect and communicate while playing the same or different games, watching movies, listening to music, and more.

The Xbox Live Camera also takes personalization to a whole new level and allows you to customize your gaming experience by putting your face on characters in your games, all while being able to video chat with your friends as you play online. And with next-generation online motion-detection-enabled games, the Xbox Live Camera puts you entirely in the game and in control of the on-screen characters over Xbox Live.

* High-end online camera supports up to VGA 640x480 video at 30 frames per second and takes 1.3-megapixel still photos.
* The camera includes a microphone that connects to the controller, so everyone in the room can chat online with their friends.
* The camera supports built-in video chat and video messaging on Xbox Live.
* Your face can be imported into games and can also be placed next to your name on leader boards for even more recognition or fame.
* Chat with your friends while you play online in Xbox 360 games as well as in the Xbox Live Arcade.

Xbox 360 Headset

The Xbox 360 Headset heightens the experience of the unprecedented online gaming community, Xbox Live, allowing you to strategize with teammates, trash-talk opponents or just chat with friends while playing your favorite games. You can record and leave short voice messages for friends or family through the free Xbox Live Message Service or connect with buddies online using the headset in place of the phone. Turn it up or turn it down, and experience the most intense gaming experience possible.

* Boom microphone can be adjusted for optimal sound quality.
* In-line volume control and mute switch let users adjust the headset volume or switch mute on and off easily.
* Noise-canceling microphone improves game response to voice commands, and provides crisp and clear voice communication.
* Lightweight, over-the-head design enables comfortable use.
* The headset plugs directly into either the Xbox 360 Controller or Xbox Wireless Controller for easy use.

Xbox 360 Memory Unit

Further enhancing the gaming experience, Xbox 360 Memory Units allow you to save your in-game achievements and unique gamer profiles. The Memory Units are easily portable and enable quick and easy access to previously established benchmarks, putting you in control of your games and your lifestyle. You can save your games, your Xbox Liveâ„¢ profile, and more with Xbox 360 Memory Units.

* Transport your Memory Unit in the portable carrying case that fits on your keychain.
* The Memory Unit (64 MB) requires no setup. Just plug it in, and you can save your favorite games.
* Xbox 360 holds up to two Memory Units, so you can easily upgrade to more storage space.

The Xbox 360 Universal Media Remote was engineered to serve as your integrated control center for the entire Xbox 360 experience. Enter a new world of digital entertainment with the touch of a single button. Play DVD movies and music, plus control your TV and your Media Center PC with one controller. The centralized, glowing Xbox Guide Button gives you quick access to your digital movies, music, and games library, and backlit buttons make the keypad easy to see in a darkened home theater. I am already drooling............. :drool2: :thumb:

wow man..exciting stuff!
u dint mention the estimated prices though...
tat mite dampen the spirit a bit :P

Honestly remote and memory unit must be bundled with every version.
Otherwise there goes the concept of complete home entertainment system.
Ya, charge users for camera and headset. but not for the devices which completes the functionality.
There 2 are the must.

no i don't think they'll bundle mmc and remote in fact with any version, if you look at history, no console came bundled with an MMC. And Remote contrls for both ps2 and Xbox were to be only bought from market as an extra.

Cool stuff, cant wait to get my hands on it. Since it'll come out in Nov, I'll be using XB Live by then :D.

They won't bundle any accessories with the console except for one control unit, never have. Fetches a lot of dolla that way. People had to buy the DVD playback kit for Xbox separately if they wanted to double their console as a DVD player cause it wouldn't play DVD movies without the kit.

but the fact is, PS3 will come a year after 360's release, so xbox wud have their share of customers ;)

Wait a minute, Metallus, you live in India ?? 'cus i don't think Sny and M$ have enabled support for online gaming in India on consoles, that includes Xbox Live.
And the MINIMUM to run an Xbox Live would be around 256 kbps, a BARE minimum! the avg of guys who hang out on xbox live are with 1-3 mbps+ connections, you'll have a very hard time getting in groups once they find out your connection's slow speed!
And xbox 360 will require even a faster connection i think.

Once India gets 1 mbps + for a cheap price, both Sony and M$ will enable their online support before we can say "BROADBAND IS FINALLY HERE!" but that's just well a dream for now.

params the reason for not enabling thr multiplayer is not only the broadband. There are other reasons.
By the way xbox like does not take too much bandwidth.
On an avarage it takes somewhere like 6-7KBps without voice.
Thats a 64Kbps connection speeds.
With 128K connection it will play just fine provided you have a connection with good infrastructure. This is now easily available in Indian major cities.
Of course better the speed lower will be the lag.
The main reason for not enabling the Live in India is the fact that its subscription service and M$ is not sure how many people will buy the live kit+subscription and broadband was a cause of worry as well.
I hope they come up with some special deal for Indian gamers ;)
If they do i will take out my xbox out of the storage room ;)

You are yet forgetting pings, if they have game servers located in US & Europe its a no go even with a 512 kbps connection.

I dont think it will be too different that PC gaming with pings.
I consistantly get below 150 pings with my connections on US servers.
Below 100 on indian and asian servers. To me thats perfectly enjoyable. I now actiually do a lot better than dialup. I used to play AA even with dialup, perfectly fine.( weapon choice is critical with dialup though ;) ).
