Is it possible to use a 220v power brick instead of a 110v one? I have a US NTSC xbox which came with a 110v power brick. Now either I could use a step down converter(which i rather not) or I could buy a new power brick for it from here which is a 220v. My question is that would buying a new power brick work? I think it should because the adapter would be converting the power from AC to DC or whatever and since all xbox are rated similarly around the world and thus would require the same output as far as power goes, it only comes down to the ability of the power brick, whether it runs on a 110v input or a 220v input. Can someone please confirm my theory as either right or wrong before I end up cooking my box? Thanks.

Also, if i were to mod this xbox, would it play all games whether NTSC or PAL or would it still be limited to playing NTSC games?

Thanks for all your help guys, really appreciate it :)

Yes you can use a 220V converter, but you need to take care of your console model-power consumption as below

Xenon & Zephyr = 203W

Falcon = 175W

Jasper = 150W
