I'm getting an Xbox 360S 4GB for 10K with bill with 3 months remaining warranty. I wanted to know if its a good deal or not. Also, I wanted to expand the HD capacity, so also let me know some pointers on how to do that.
Personally i think its a little expensive. it just has 3 months warranty left, that means it is in use for a long time. You would be going in for a bigger HDD that means you would have to shell out a little more money. Then also this generation would go out in mid next year because of new xbox, ps3.
So i think it a little on the expensive side. But that`s just my opinion.
I guess, I could bargain it upto 9k. Also, I definitely want to go for a bigger HDD of around 60-120GB, can you tell me how much would it cost and where do I buy it ?
Even at 9k it appears expensive. Try for 6-7k range. Also depends on if 1 or 2 controllers are on offer. And if you are looking to get it modded, you will have to look for few other things
There's only 1 wireless controller on offer. Spending 3-4k for each title is definitely a costly affair so I'm looking for some cheaper alternatives like Subscription/Rentals/Modding etc.
Btw, whats the Gold-membership for ? I read on MS site that it allows you to download "full xbox 360 games"
Gold membership is for online multiplayer gaming. Sadly Microsoft charges for it while its free on sony ps3. You need online gameplay or not - it totally depends on you. I like playing online (Gears of war series is a must on xbox 360).
