Tie up with UTV for bollywood movies and trailers?
Some Game Rental scheme like Netflix?

Seems interesting. If it's true, this is a very good move.

The membership costs sound good to me. What interests me the most is the possible game rental service. That would rock so hard.

the game rental service has been launched by seventymm.in on a trial basis in new delhi.. they charge on pay per view, wid rental at 199 bucks for 3 days and 4 nights.

Pretty awesome. Sony needs to watch and learn here, open up a PSN store for India too.

All M$ needs to do now is cut the price on games just a little more and continue with heavy advertising and they're set.

What M$ really needs to do is to cut the prices of the console, the price tag on the games are not THAT high that its unaffordable, neither is it cheap. But if the 360's price breaks that 15-14k barrier then Sony will be in deep shit.

Yeah, I think a price cut is really in order here. Maybe cut the price to something 17.5K or below and bundle it with a live subscription when Xbox live releases.

Maybe im mistaken, but i think sony is just waiting to do that. Waiting for what you ask. Maybe some stats on how many of each (PS3) game sold. Which relates to the number of PS3's sold. Once they penetrate the market im pretty sure these PSN's would be up aswell. Opening it too early would relate to a already sink(ing) cost.

Where as i think the xbox 360 has started making profits so they can afford these things in 3rd world countries.

I wonder what the ratio of PS3 vs Xbox 360 is at right now in india? And i wonder if the PS3 will ever have WII emulated. Ahhhhhh my day dreams never stop to cease. I just hope some group comes up with it. It would turn out to be quite a classic drama ~ ~

Lets see how far the Linux community goes now that they've found almost full access to the PS3's gfx hardware. Let them get the PS2's emulator and some Linux games running on PS3 linux.

If they can access the full PS3 graphics hardware then they might be able to run all latest linux games like UT3, Quake Wars etc. on PS3.

i don't think the price of xbox360 will come down to 15-16k any time soon since there's a high import duty on the hardware

How did they get that info ? Did Nvidia release datasheets of the GPU ? or is it through like probing the interface for which register does what, like what the community used to do for ATI cards ?If the later is true . then I am sceptical on how much anybody except sony can utilise the video hardware.Looking at the PS3 H/W i personally feel that the developers will be constrained by memory limitations.
Still there is no way I am going to pay microsoft to play online, The box is mine, the game is mine, the net is mine, how come paying for playing online come into picture here (whatever be the amount) ?

^^ AGREE. M$ Loves to suck at any loose ends where ever it can (no pun intended). HEHEHEHE. I hear some one saying Server Maintainence and all. Ahh shuv it.
