XBOX ONE India launch to be Amazon exclusive. Sept 23 @ 39k onwards.

Amazon.in has listed the XBOX ONE for pre booking and expects to ship from September 23 i.e. next month.
The XBOX ONE will be Amazon exclusive and will be available in the DAY ONE edition.
The Standalone console(with FIFA 15) is priced at Rs 39990/- and the Day One edition with Kinect bundle(FIFA 15 & Dance Central) is listed at Rs 45990/-

40k for standard model which is same as PS4, actually it makes sense to get 46k bundle with kinect for potential buyers as kinect standalone bundle will surely cost 12-15k.

Apart from that, the prebooking offers worth Rs.10k are excellent value:
" The promotion includes Rs. 3,000 off the Xbox One controller (which costs Rs. 3,900 in the country), two free latest Blu-Ray titles worth Rs. 2,500, Rs. 2,000 off on speakers and Rs. 1,000 off on bags."

I'm just commenting on how expensive gaming has become. Time to dust off my Media console and play some Contra, Baseball, Adventure Island, Darkwing Duck, Felix the cat and the likes. Cheap, addictive, nostalgic.

Had so much fun playing those with friends. Nowadays i dont really feel like gaming as i dont have any friend to play with. With a friend ,even 8 bit games seem so fun and without, it feels like a chore atleast to me.

If you count for inflation, there hasn't been that much a difference as far as expensiveness is concerned (except for the PS3 price during its launch).

XBOX ONE is surely expensive but in comparision it seems more value for money as it includes the Kinect and 2 games + the offers from Amazon. Most of the buyers will surely go for an additional controller and the 3k off is a very good offer in that case. One can consider the Kinect bundle at 46900/- with an extra controller.
 
if u like and play on the xbox, its a great offer, considering the price of the accessories seperate.. u get amazon 1500 gift voucher + 2000 off on speakers + two blurays + two games included.. fifa alone will cost a bomb - and a freaking 4k controller free .. its totally worth it. I think u totally should go for it bro :D
 
I am also ordering one and wanted to ask if i need to put a click on the checkbox for extra controller or not. I hope i am among those 1000 people and how does one know if he/she would be in it or not. Is it like a gamble where you try your luck. This reminds me of Poker.

What gamble?? Detailed step by step instructions are given, put a click on both xbox and extra controller and you can check the final discounted amount before payment. Amazon has mentioned that offer ends on 12th August, 2014

@Fenix - it will show all the things added in the cart when go proceed to payments with value O on them.. so u will def be in the 1000. id suggest to order as quick as possible though .. im sure amazon will be able to find 1000 crazy xbox fans before the 12th hahahaha
