it is 999 , it only shows full price in the orders section - my total amount paid was proper with all the discounts added

and jaydip - don't worry lol as long as u buy her something equally expensive.. everything will be just fine :)
 
Have placed the order. Last gen also i purchased XBOX 360 first and same happened with this this gen too.

OT... I'm new into these gaming consoles... never played anything(even in phones/tablets) and not interested too. Now planning to get one, mainly for my kid(5 yrs). But too much confused on what to buy... XONE or PS4? Some one is selling a week old xone without kinect for 23000 approx. new one with kinect 35000 and PS4 is 35000. So really dont have clue, which one i should go... or just get previous generation one and later upgrade :(
 
All depends on what sort of games ur kid plays and how much ur willing to spend on games later on, would be cheaper to build a pc or get a Xbox 360 or ps3 and mod it, the new consoles can't be hacked, games range anywhere between 3-4k, both new consoles r great, just depends which titles u like playing more, we always play halo n forza which is a Xbox exclusive so it's a no brainer, ps4 is leading in sales, Xbox is playing catch up but u wont be going wrong with either, u will need a Internet connection mostly with the Xbox too, loads of downloads n software updates plus some games like destiny aswell work with WiFi

I would suggest you to stick with Xbox One solely because its for your kid and motion sensor and the entertainment quotient in Xbox is much better compared to PS4.

I am not expecting your kid to be playing any action oriented or you playing any exclusives on PS4 (exclusives are better on PS4) simply because you were never a gamer before.

True... Most of the time my kid spend time in phones/ipad by playing racing games/ironman/spiderman and watching similar streams in youtube. But we want him to not spend much time in smaller screens, since he keeps very close to his eyes :(

So without kinect is not fun either for him?

Both Xbox and PS4 has adventure games that will interest the kids. But kids tend to appreciate the fun in kinect more than anything simply because they see the kid on screen (the ingame cartoon/protoganist) jumping/moving around while your kid doing it himself. They find it so amusing and catch their attention.

If your kid is already fond of games, he will be glued and I am sure he might end up playing the same game on kinect for months togather :)
 
Cancelled the order. Will order the PS4 and a Good GPU . Friends abroad gave bad review about the console , said feels more like Windows 8 and less like a console. Graphics are not that good compared to PS4 too.

For gamers, ps4 is better than Xbox one in all ways unless you are looking for kinect
 
nothing like that but with current xbox sales. everyone's having a doubt hahaha... im going for it anyway. ps4 toggle stick wears out within a week. its a known issue.. any way this topic is a long and intensive one - no point going down that road haha to each his own :)

Yeah Toxic and Rakesh,Agreed. I have 2 XBOX 360 . One that i bought from you and other gifted by my Wife. Then have a PS3 . Graphic quality is also a consideration but then most of the games are coming to PC aswell. Its been long since i have played games other than RTS/RPG on PC . GTX 980/970 are going to release in India soon so inclined towards that thinking.
 
itll have a easy setup guide when u start it.. or just google. i dont have mine yet .. where did u buy it from? congrats btw :)
 
^i meant about setting up some games like racing... I've not bought any game now... Is there any free games can be downloaded? This also comes 14 day gold trial. Anything useful from that? This is manufactured in 2013/11... Is there any problem with such old stock?

Im in one of the nordic countries
 
xbox live is great u can download free demos sort of a try before u buy ... and no there is no problem with old stock. current gen is trouble free unlike the first gen 360s'
with europe didnt u get a adapter to work with ur cable? they have launched it there to work well as a media / cable device - ive not tried forza 5 yet .. but its supposed to be really good, u didnt get any free games? get dance central
 
I didn't subscribe any cable service. There's no free games with this package... Free games package didn't have kinect, so I didn't go for that.
 
^i tried... But only forza horizon was available as demo... Everything else buy: ( finally ended up in buying forza 5 code from ebay. Thanks for your inputs so far... No more purchase for another 3 or 4 months :(
