Don't want to derail it, but it is unlikely that it is in warranty in India. This might be a unit from Europe, so the warranty would only be valid in Europe. Europe has a 2 year warranty on almost everything, not the case in India.

nope it is an Indian purchase, we have the bill copy and sent it to Microsoft, they corrected the warranty info, the console is 7 months old.
