err its not the engine.............it's actually the hardware you are referring to. Emotion engine etc are just marketing buzzwords if you are referring to them in anyway. Graphics are ofcourse anyday better on xbox while the ps2 shines for it titles.
 
Stores around my area (Lokhandwala, Andheri) are quoting 7,500 - 7,800 IRS for the PS2.

Can anyone give me a price check from a store in Heera Panna? Even Alfa is quoting 7,800 IRS.

Or just PM me or Post the name of a store in Heera Panna, I'll get their number and ask 'em how much it retails for.
 
Is That for the silver version ? Coz I think Silver version is 400-500 rs costlier then the Black ! Also ask for a Free Memory Card !

No, the above prices are for Black model, non negotiable even.

Edit: I got the name of "Shivram Electronics" from another old thread on TE, it's a store in Heera Panna. I called up the Yellow Pages Directory Enquiry service,t hey couldn't find the number of that store. Anychance one of ya'll could hook me up with the number of an Electronics Store @ Heera Panna, I just need to confirm the rates there.
 
ps2 is the best choice you can make, its got a couple of xbox games on it too like the splinter cell series and in splinter cell chaos theory, you get an extra level that isnt there in the pc or the xbox versions but at the sacrifice of some part of the graphics area. look on the bright side, ps2w has metal gear solid 2 and 3!!!! its stealth action at its finest.

Seriously speaking , if u r buying a PS2 Then Buy only the Silver Version ! It Looks so much cooler then the Black version ! And Don't Care abt those A$$Holes , they r just being ignorant ! Its u who is Spending money , so there is no need of making any compromises watsoever !
 
Picked up the Black PS2 Slim that Jaffer was selling @ the Market place.

Got around 12 Games or so, 2 controllers, Mem Card and the Unit. In pretty good physical condition might I add. Just did a lil extra work and cleaned out the corners etc with an Ear Bud!

Now to try and figure out where I can find a big selection of PS2 games.

I went to the best local store, couldn't find more than 50% of the games I wanted.

Anyone know where I can find games like Pacman World 3, Crash Twistanity, Rachet and Clank: Up your Arsenal, Virtua Fighter 4, i-Ninja, Psychonauts, Final Fantasy X, to be specific.

If anyone knows where I can find any or all of these in Mumbai, let me know. Asked the local guys if they could arrange for it, they declined claiming "This is everything we have, or everything out there."

Ebay USA. I doubt if you could find them all in one store. Or else you'd need a store that would order the games for you.
 
I've got both, the ps2 n xbox. I'm using the xbox as a media center right now. trust me the games are much better on the ps2!!
