this is one of the best low budget cards 2 b released in the recent times. But it is not available in Kolkata. I found it so interesting that i requested one of my frnd in NYC 2 bring one 4 me. He bought it at a mere $90 only.

Strengths: Cheap, DirectX 10 support:ohyeah:

Weaknesses: Only one DVI port:(

Summary: The card is very cheap compared to other 8x series graphic cards. Runs a little hot. Only one DVI port.

I am sorry, but your searching is not good enough.

Tomorrow (yes, tomorrow) I saw MSI, XFX, another model can't remember 8600GT cards in Kolkata shops. I am sure, if I ask then I could get 8500 specially of MSI.

P.S. don't expect to get a latest card that is released just few weeks ago. Shipment takes time....

yes sure, (most of them I know the place but don't know the names as those are just for hunting particular components for best price)

Here -

COMPUTER WORLD (near Saboo) saw XFX 8600GT
Arihant Info (not Arihant Marchent) they brings whatever you wants.
TIRUPATI for MSI and GeCUBE
and another small SHOP in the core market area with 8500GT but can't get the brand name as it was blocked by another BOX (the ART work was also totally different from XFX/MSI/Leadtek etc. May be Sparkle/BIG etc..... hope you understand)
