Your account details should be with only one buyer at a time. You can give a buyer a time of say 24 hours for payment to reflect, otherwise you share details with next in line.

Giving accounts to multiple buyers simultaneously is akin to fraud.

I also agree on this principle but 24 hrs is way long a time. 2-4 hrs during normal hours should be enough. That too, purely at seller's discretion, depending on what he committed to the buyer.

Why does one need so much time to decide when on one hand, he/she wanted it so dearly and on other hand, needs time to decide ?

What's in there for the seller if he denied giving it to the 2nd buyer since 1st buyer needs time to decide and 1st buyer then comes back saying he changed his mind. Or doesn't come back at all (happens sometimes) ?

Loss due to the 1st buyer taking time should be to him, not the seller.

Banks like HDFC have a 12 hour activation period before money can be transferred to a new beneficiary.

I added him as beneficiary on Monday night.But it was approved and activated by SBI only on Tuesday 1.30 PM.Also he PM the amount to be transferred including shipping only on Tuesday 1.20 PM.I immediately done the payment.I agreed it's seller's right to sell his item .And I don't think he is a fraud.He is a nice guy.

Well i have faced guys who don't do transfer even after finalize the deal & taking account details..So i am not into holding business & it is upto me with how many people i share my account..[DOUBLEPOST=1407304835][/DOUBLEPOST]

No, if the buyer has clarified his intentions of paying and is already in the process of doing the needful (adding beneficiary, etc), then I also agree that seller should wait for that buyer.

He did the same thing to me on M8 deal,Paid him spot money,and later he sold it to a another buyer on Ero for higher rate which i later came to know..

LOL..You need to recall that you wanted refund as i cant ship on the same day after you transfer the money which you have said in the thread itself if you are forgotten..it was you who want shipping just after transfer..

Guys @Mainak777 is a genuine guy and very nice person to deal with.....And the Whoever pays first gets it is a good selling policy & seller has every right to sell to whoever he wants....And if anyone has that urgency to get the said product in possession than he should have the guts to buy a new one....... and if your bank is taking 10-12 hours than do cash deposit(including Cash deposit fee) to the seller and it updates in OP account immediately or within 10 minutes.....

No need to get personal folks. This is a sale thread, not an ethics discussion thread.

Giving account details to 2 people isn't ideal IMO but if the seller refunds well in time then i don't see a need to make a huge fuss about it. Just move on
