Xiaomi Mi3 launched - Stunning 14k price

So I called up the Ecom people and enquired about the status of the package as the status has not been updated since 4AM yesterday morning. The people in Delhi have still not received the package and they estimate that the package would arrive by tomorrow. And then they would try to deliver it by tomorrow evening if not then Monday.

So an order placed placed on Tuesday afternoon will reach me by Monday. Interesting...
 
How does one get this after registering..? Also is it running on the latest Android OS..? Or will we get it OTA later on...? And I have only heard good things about this phone, what is something this phone "does not have"..? I would like to hear that...? They are saying at 2 PM there is a sale on August 2nd. So I will need to be on FK's site..? What happens after that...? I am sure there will be a flurry to get the phone..?

Personally, the only thing I miss is a Micro-SD card slot. Everything else is pretty much perfect. Oh, and you can never have enough battery life. :p
 
Does anyone have any idea for how long they'll be selling this product? With the release of mi4 , will it roll back immediately? As Flipkart is the only seller that would be it for people who need mi3. mi4 must cost atleast double that of mi4. I was planning to move from my 3 year old SGS i9000 to mi3 by the end of this year.

Xiaomi sells any mobile for at least 18 months (to recuperate costs as margins become better (due to decrease in productions costs)), so Mi3 still has till this years' end IMO (was launched in Sept 2013 AFAIR).
And no, Mi4 has been launched in China at exactly the same price Mi3 was launched.

I din't know about their prices being the same. I saw it was being sold for $460 in the US. Maybe, for a change, US is at the receiving end of those depressing import duties ;)
 
Guys, I need your help. I got my Mi-3 on 23rd itself. Its a great phone. Everything is working flawlessly except google services when connected to mobile data. When I am using wifi play store, gmail, youtube all work fine but now wifi isn't connecting( hopefully router problem) so switched to 2g, play store didn't work. I though it is because of 2g, then i switched to 3g. My phone browser works but chrome doesn't, playstore doesn't, gmail doesn't. I tried to download apps using my desktop but I get an error in my phone saying download failed. I still have my Motorola Atrix 4G linked to my gmail which i'm using in my mi3. Is that the problem. I tried adding a new google id apart from my existing one. I successfully added it but even this new id is not able to connect to google servers through mobile data. What to do? How do i rectify? Playstore has been constantly showing connection timed out. Even themes don't seem to work over 3G. Help:(
 
Got the 4.4.4 update in the morning , has the Indian version got it yet ?

Ordered on 29th but its not shipped by now and CC gives same crappy answers like "It will be delivered before 5 August"
