Xiaomi Redmi 1S goes on sale on Flipkart for Rs. 5999

Those who missed the 1S, try getting the redmi note which will be released in some weeks.
Is there something I'm missing?

I think I know how people are getting their orders through! All this scripting, syncing etc. is plain hogwash. Just realized .... They are all wearing Lux Cozy! :p

Without the scripting or add in it dint work for me during Mi3. So I had to go with the chrome add in and it worked. All I can say is grab your piece if u need it by any means possible (of course not by paying extra to the opportunists out there).
These mobiles are available only when they are. Xiaomi brought in a revolutionary price but won't stay long if any of the major players decide to compete on the price point.
Motorola has done it. Anyone can do it as they are only slashing down their profit margins
 
Shipping is supposed to start from 11th and to be delivered by 16th.
Not sure whether that will really happen, looking at the way flipkart is struggling during past week.

I am happy with the delayed delivery for the first time as I am going to gift it to my sis and she wont be available untill 15th :p. May its for the first time that I am not furious for something that is delayed.
 
I registered for the next sale. It gave me message as..

You've been successfully registered. Make your Redmi 1S purchase on Sep 9th at 2:00 PM

So does this mean phone will be automatically added to cart or I have to engage in clicking wars at 2:00 Pm on that day ?
No intention to buy the phone but If i remember about the sale and get it in my cart, i will sell off to someone here at no profit and COD.

I have registered too for the next sale. Will try that chrome addin again and see if it can work the magic for me one more time. Its for the community. I dont need any more Redmi 1s :)
 
I know it is absolutely too late, but any chance of getting a Redmi 1s. I have a friend who is really keen on it.

Otherwise, 9th Sept it is...

I was just kidding man - 'Apna Luck Pehen Ke Chalo'. You're right about trying it all. Next time around, I think I'll try the addons as well as multiple a/cs & multiple browsers & multiple devices .... the works!
